Not at all β that's exactly what the beginner kits are for. Every kit includes a video course that teaches the magic ring, single crochet and everything else from absolute zero. Most first-timers finish their first friend in a single weekend.
Everything except your hands: pre-sorted 100% cotton yarn, a crochet hook, stitch markers, polyester stuffing, safety eyes, a yarn needle, a quick-start card, and lifetime access to the stitch-along video course and PDF pattern.
Beginner kits take about 3β7 hours spread over a weekend; advanced kits run 6β12 hours. Work at your own pace β the video course is yours forever, so you can put the project down and pick it back up anytime.
No. Hook, yarn, stuffing, eyes and needle are all in the box. Advanced kits use a slightly smaller hook, which is included too. The only thing we can't pack is the yarn cutter β scissors you already own work perfectly.
